In the first Dragon Ball Bulma is one of the richest people and is legit the best scientist in the whole anime while Chi Chi is one of the strongest, Launch is one of best at handling firearm. WTF?! Briefs (bulmas mom) I can't think of a single female main character who wasn't also badass To be fair: the original Dragonball definitely had it's moments, they definitely had Bulma fan service with the bunny suit episodes or that time they flashed her panties (which was done to show that Goku was so fucking naive/pure he didn't know women didn't have dicks), but they never portrayed her character as anything other than a take charge, can do, genius.Įxcept maybe mrs. Or videl, who holds her own with beings many times more powerful than her, and has Gohan on a short leash.
